Kiki Goes Awol

No, it just could not be, it cannot be… or whatever any responsible adult says in this situation.

I can’t move forward like this. I am 27 years old, a responsible, well-liked (I believe), veterinary surgeon. Finally, I am starting out after all those years of hard work on a path to a career that can take me to Borneo, Thailand, Sri Lanka, or wherever the wild animals roam.

All I can ever remember is wanting to work with animals, especially the ones that talk to me. That is a story you need to catch up on if you missed the tales of Felix before Kiki and Billy.

For now, what to do, who to talk to, and what to say? Oh, this really can’t be happening, not now and probably not ever.
